post 7: Santiago Stories.
Hi, today I'm going
to talking about the Santiago stories, specifically public transport stories.
In general, I walk or use the bus to move around the city,
but my travels are very short, from my house to University I take 5 minutes by
bus, so it’s rare that something interesting happens to me along the way. But with
so many trips something to happen to me. One day when I was in a hurry to get
to my house, because I have work for workshop, I said: “mmm… I will go by bus
to get there faster”, I went to the whereabouts and the bus passed immediately
and there were free seats, and I said: “fantastic!!!”, I sit down, I wear
headphones and start listening to music, some minutes passed and the bus
collided with a car, it was a smooth collision, the card was left with a very
small mark, but inside the card there was a baby, so his dad was very angry, he
put his car in front of the bus and did not let us move forward, the people
inside the bus were very upset, including me, a lady called the police. While the
bus driver and the card driver discussed, it had already been 20 minutes, and I
just thought: “I want to get my hose”, “why does this happen to me?”, “the world
hates me”. I finally got off the bus and I walked home.
It really was a very sad day for me, because I also worked
for the workshop all night.
was bad luck!, but at least not was serious. One day my bus ran out of fuel in Santiago, and I prefered walk to metro.
